About Us
Our Story
Born in 2010, as a spin-off of the University of Turin and the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN), section of Turin, in Italy, i-See has maturated a really strong expertise in simulating effects of radiations, also performing in close collaboration with the most advanced oncologic centers. We started then developing custom predictive simulations as main products for different uses.
Our Vision
We aim to make cutting-edge technology widely accessible to reduce radiation exposure and its harmful effects. At the same time, we work to transform how technology is utilized and perceived, ensuring long-term benefits for both individuals and society.
Our Mission
We collaborate closely with clients, harnessing their unique potential to create 'ad hoc' solutions that meet their specific needs. We focus on fully optimizing hardware use to ensure maximum efficiency and performance.
Our Strength
Our approach is based on a wide multidisciplinary cooperation: the company's team grows around co-partners and founders who oversee the technical and scientific development and includes a diverse range of professionals. By involving experts such as physicists, engineers, biologists, computer scientists and physicians, we ensure our solutions meet market demands, while expanding our expertise into new fields and disciplines.
i-See brings together different expertise, high-value services,
advanced computing resources and Monte Carlo simulations.
The Monte Carlo method is a powerful technique for accurate calculations across
various scenarios in physics and radiation biology.
While most existing solutions rely on models that provide only approximated
estimates, the Monte Carlo method is considered the most accurate for addressing the
physics of a problem, as it simulates the inherent randomness of nature's laws.
Our works and publications
With over 20 years of expertise in medical physics, our team has contributed extensively
to international publications and conferences. We are proud to collaborate with both the
University of Turin (UniTo)
and the Polytechnic University of Turin (PoliTo),
offering students the opportunity to
complete their MSc theses with us.
